Re: Chug! Chug! Chug! (Bottle Neck reviews)
It was a pleasure to partake in the songfight, and hear some good tones. I liked Jeff DeSantis's smooth sounds, dug Paco's tight rhythmic playing, enjoyed Glen's screams, twists and turns, chilled to the Tuner's Union's textures, Berkeley's raw jungle, Magnetic's down home slide, Micah's tight harmo...

My mom always said better late than never...be what she wants! Add Give me a good old campfire and bring all of your friends, too. Strikes me good after "move on". We need about ten more people in on the chorus and handclaps, to give this a real homestyle feel which it begs for. Maybe entr...

Re: I'll Crush You With My Crushing Reviews (Crush Reviews)
We improvise (glennny & Ken) until we like a groove or riff that we want to make a verse or chorus out of. I think this is sweet. This is what we always did in corn on the cob, too. So much fun with just no pressure and all good vibes. I'd like to review but only currently have use of one hand ...

No one will hum, or sing along with you. Never at a loss for words -- but still say nothing -- and if we stare too long, at least we won't get undone. And even if we say it all wrong, I think I think we're not dumb; at least we're numb. And if you're far, or if you forget, don't you know I remembere...

Word! My favorite part of MC Milk's is about 3:14 to about 3:30 or so. That "Ring them bells" and the band drops out and the bells start up, is pretty damn sweet. Long hot summer...funky drummer...would you could you be...mama. Good shit yo.

the Hinsdale Patent: This is a killer track. Anyone who can blend rhythm changes, melodic changes, and work "have a smoothie" into a dark, mysterious, moog-laden outro, and still have it sound fantastic and still retain that darkness and depth, is the clear winner in my opinion. You got my...

Corn on Cob - Sounds like you're singing with a wadded-up towel in your mouth, which is distracting, because the timbre of everything else sounds good. We like to imagine our singer on this one is an olde tyme cowboy with a vocal styling paved by years of acrid trail dust and hand-rolled cigarettes...

Corn on the Cob Note: we needed a burly voice of some kind of Montana cowboy. The words, yes, they're hard to understand; so here they are. Walking down this road it's a dirty road can't seem to find anything look out there across the old path he might get a fang in, and you'll be hurtin' he'll give...

Re: Better use lube (In the Tank reviews)
Boltoph -- That's a really cool intro but the really artificial-sounding vocal fades ruin it a bit for me. The crunchy bits are mixed in a bit weirdly, bit tiresome to listen to with headphones. I don't know if it's because of some ultra-short reverb/delay (is there any? I can't tell) or just becau...

Aardwolves I like the change around :22, and the melody that follows it. It's John Lennon-esque in my opinion. Goes on over and over, a few too many times but I like it. I like the stops. The chord structure could use more variation, but other than that it's a nice little song that sounds like it ha...
