Re: Rest In Peace
I know “too soon” and “shocking” gets tossed around a lot, but I don’t know what else to say. What a loss. Rest in peace.

Re: Songfight Live 2022 IRL Interest Poll
On our road trip to SFL: Spokane, Mike Lamb and I stopped in Bend for the night and played an open mic at a combination bar/laundromat. A++ would go to Bend again, if circumstances permit.

Re: Cooking
One of our go-to weeknight meals is mac n cheese, sausage, and beans. Slice up a kielbasa and fry it in a skillet, serve with baked beans and mac n cheese. I have to admit that I like the box stuff better too. I mostly make it from scratch just to do it and practice cheese sauce making. Do you mix ...

Tri-color rotini in a cheddar-based sauce mornay. Yeah yeah it’s just Mac n cheese with different pasta. But cheese sauce from scratch y’all. I like to make mac n cheese with from-scratch sauce and fancy pasta. My kids prefer the shit from the box. Oh well. One of our go-to weeknight meals is mac n...

Re: Telecasters of Song Fight!
Can someone post a screenshot or something of whatever the letter is? The LA Times hates me because I live in Europe. My browser did not show the image either, so I dug around the page source to find the actual image. While spelunking in the HTML, I found at the very bottom: </footer> </body> <!--G...

Re: Telecasters of Song Fight!
Some sweet teles here. I’ve always wanted a B-bender, or the Holy Grail of telecasters, the B/G double bender.
Here is a my humble tele, a mexican made with rosewood fingerboard and strat-style pickup layout.

Re: Song Fight! Live(Stream) - September 2020
Yeah! I just did a medley: all of my entries from the past 12 years I participated. Had to get all the ditties back in mind. 21 songs condensed to 7 minutes. Chronologically, of course. It was good fun. :D Well, if there’s a silver lining to not being able to get together in person, I guess it’s ni...

Thanks. They're going to be an hour and a half away. They'll have a couple of days of driving before they arrive. Plenty of time to assess the situation. Sacramento area checking in… things have been a little scary in Vacaville, Fairfield, and Winters, but so far actual property damage has been mos...

Air is really nasty here, ash falling from the sky. We’re about 20 miles East of the fires. A few power outages, but nothing longer than a couple of hours. A few of my coworkers are on the edge of the mandatory evacuation zone, but so far everyone is OK.
Stay safe out there everyone.

Where did you get the shovel thing? I want one of those. I make pizza every Friday night for my daughter. A deep dish Chicago style one. And a thin NY style one. I would love that shovel for the NY one. Getting the fresh dough onto the pizza stone currently involves contortions with several breadbo...

Wait, what’s wrong with Ballast Point? I love me some Sculpin. Didn’t they get bought by one of the big brewing conglomerates a while back?
