haha, I like the Trailblazers and Yellow Lasers.

I like Portland too. I have friends who own some good eats up there.

Leah and like to go to Portland as often as possible. Combining that with SongFight sounds ideal.

That said, if PDX falls through, we could put together a Denver event as well.

If it's Portland, I am there! I've got many friends and family there. My family is going to drive up!

I probably won't be able to make it this year, but I think Portland sounds like a perfect venue. I'll be particularly sad to miss it if Rabid hosts.

Any ideas on a time frame? Earlier bought tickets are cheaper tickets, y'know. :)

...and easilyer gotten venues, yeah. Early August-ish?

Discuss.

Guess that means it's pretty unanimous for PDX, eh?

I can't do the weekend of August 7-9 but I should be fine with any of the other 4 weekends of August.

July and August are both all-clear for me. My only block at the moment is June 26-28.

I'll probably rent a car and drive down, myself, so this will be a "fluffy can bring too much gear" year.

Early August is great! Late August no so much. I'm bringing the kids, so I'm hoping this falls within summer break.

Sounds like August 14th-16th might work? Of course the host should chime in, see if the venues would go for that.

This may be the first time I'm in agreement with glenny  The local events calendar looks clear that weekend (aside from a little thing). The weekend after would be pretty silly to book against, in addition to it being our anniversary weekend... sorry it might not work for you Toby

It's looking like Portland is the consensus. This bums me out, because I've wanted to have an excuse to visit Portland for years. It looks like my partner picked a pretty crappy time to be 33 weeks pregnant.

Sorry, I did my math wrong; 35 weeks.

Plus, saving up for the impending expense kind of precludes travel for at least a few months in either direction.

Ah, well, that's regrettable but understandable.
