I am referring to the original series that debuted in 1959, and not the attempts to revive the show in the 80's and 2002.
I have been watching the episodes in the order of their air dates, and I've gotten a little over 2/3 through season one so far. This show still holds up as some of the most brilliant, fascinating and thought provoking television I have ever watched. That's fairly impressive for a show that's nearly 50 years old.
ROCK!

These were great shows. I also liked the 80's version, well, that was when I was growing up. Mmm, that theme music is awesome. Anyway, are you watching on DVD?

I'd like to get the definitive editions on DVD, but I am primarily finding them on YouTube and cross referencing an episode guide for now.HeuristicsInc wrote:Anyway, are you watching on DVD?

"Room for one more, Honey!"
I love that one - it looks weird cause it was shot on video. Have you gotten to that one yet?

Re: The Twilight Zone
I got through season one and I am just starting season two, but I broke sequence to watch this one ("Twenty Two") and Niv's suggestion ("Five characters in search of an exit"). Great choices, guys! They are both fantastic episodes. I went ahead and caught "To Serve Man" and "A Most Unusual Camera" while I was at it.Ross wrote:"Room for one more, Honey!"

I think my favorite first season episodes would have to be as follows:
1. "What You Need" (12/25/59)
2. "A World Of His Own" (7/1/60)
3. "The Last Flight" (2/5/60)
4. "Time Enough at Last" (11/20/59)
5. "And When The Sky Was Opened" (12/11/59)
Again, I recommend this magnificent episode guide if the titles don't ring a bell. You know, like the bell that plays into the story of "Five Characters in Search of an Exit!"
I love this show.
ROCK!

"The Obsolete Man" is my favorite episode.
The Sci-Fi channel used to give me reasons to love the 4th of July...back when I had cable.
