Voice Mail Messages

Post by jb »

Hey.

Thought it might be fun if we all, or some of us, or a couple of us, made voice mail messages for each other. I don't have any ready-made to start the thread, but I will take a few minutes later today or tomorrow to be amusing or disturbing for 30 seconds at a shot.

Some of you are so weird, I think it might make for some awesome voice mail outgoing messages.

30 seconds or less, with no swears. That's the rule. I mean, if you want it to actually be a usable message. My answering machine takes only up to 30 seconds, and I won't put swears on it.

So.... go.... if this is interesting to you at all...

You always come up with these little creative diversions... unfortuntately, I'm probably not weird enough for this little process. But I'm still gonna give it the old college try... now, are we supposed to target a specific fighter, or is this a generic ...teehheee... I made a pun message?

yes. Also, 24 bit 96khz because it has to sound good if it's gonna be on my voice mail.

30 seconds is the LIMIT... but you should really shoot for something around 10 to 15 seconds ya'll. I don't have voice mail at home but I could use it here at work...and I don't think everyone is going to want to sit through a full 30 seconds every time they try to leave me a message. Even if I have to sit through 30 + seconds of their rambling on.

Man, Wreckdom would rock the answering machine... even with a return of the poopy guy.

I may have to work on one or two of these when I am not at my parent's place visiting.

I would also recommend Yook for this project, he is about as silly as you would hope a songfighter could be.

ROCK!

What's the plot here? Is there a script, or do we record a few messages and people choose? or what?
Hmm.

PS Is DTS a generic name, because I thought 5.1 was a dolby trademark, and how does DTS compare to THX?

Yeah, just record a couple, have fun, maybe people will use them. You can do some generic "I ain't home, sucka!" type messages, and some songy ones and some skits, whatever strikes your fancy.
