Re: Grimm
It's typical for the first of the season. Getting used to how the actors look after spending their movie money from their previous season.
My first negative reaction was to the octopus character. How damn rubber and fake was that? I thought for sure at the end Nick was going to pull it off and everyone at once was going to say, "Old man Grimmly?"
.....he would have gotten away with it too, if it weren't for those meddling grimms.
Also wondering how long are they going to go before Nick gets his mojo back?

Re: Grimm
I imagine most of the drama from this season will have to do with Nick and his loss of his Grimminess. I expect at some point he will have to make a choice between being a Grimm or staying non-grimmy. With Juliet on one side pressuring him to give it up and who knows what pulling him the other direction. They may even save that for the finale.

Re: Grimm
I think it's off to a good start! I hope they don't make us sit through a whole season with Nick being "normal" and Trubel being the only grimm. She's still pretty annoying. Also, cliffhanger ending of first episode, what will happen, ack!

We won't know what happens until we all get back from trick-or-treating. I hope that I get some of those medicinal candies that fox news keeps saying that all the kids are going to get and get them addicted. I'd be in sheer delight if I got a $25.00 jolly rancher or a $75.00 rice crispy treat.

Yep, second episode is opening up all the awesome doors. Strange things are afoot at the circle K.
Oh, by the way Ken. Did you get a sneak peek of this weeks epi? You called it with Juliet.

Re: Grimm
Grimm continues to be fun to watch. Hexenbiest Juliet is pretty awesome. Hopefully it being on a long winter hiatus doesn't mean it's waning in popularity and in danger of cancellation.

Re: Grimm
I seem to remember this happening every season with Grimm. They take a break or start showing repeats, then have more new episodes in the off season. In fact, they even changed days from Friday to Tuesday I think. I wonder if it has anything to do with harsh Oregon winters?

Re: Grimm
T'was quite dry and balmy this time around. Why, it's a delightful 38° right now ;-p and dry (ish).
I think it's just the Breaking-Bad-split-season effect that seems to be the new model for the networks' scheduling decisions.
Hmmm... might have to make up a Grimm tour for SFL--the "police station" building is lovely in real life.

Re: Grimm
I just looked at the Grimm wiki. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grimm_%28season_4%29
There are 22 episodes in season 4. 19 of which are titled already. They resume from the winter break with episode 14 (bad luck) on March 20 and run until May 15th.
Also, Grimm has been picked up for season 5.
Episode 14 quote: "And glory , like the phoenix midst her fires , Exhales her odours, blazes, and expires"
If my hunch is correct about Juliette, that quote is a spoiler. But I could be wrong, heh.

Re: Grimm
Season 5, sweet! I can rest more easily now, thanks guys. A "Grimm" tour at SFL would be awesome, Erin and I would definitely be game for that.

Also, something that made me chuckle when I did the Grimm search. The fans now call Monroe and Rosalee's relationship........are you ready?........Monrosalee.

Ha. Cute. Another Grimm trivia: Erin met Hank's mom!! (The mother of the actor that plays Hank, that is.) She lives in the Bay Area.

Re: Grimm
I almost got bored with a few lame grimm tales this season. But then it got nuckin' futs and sucked me back in again. The season finale was great. It's gotten really dark. Then yesterday when looking to make sure they are doing another season, which they are, and they said at a Q&A that the new season is going even darker. Which I find hard to believe. How can it get darker than (spoiler) nick finding his mother's head in a box and the love of his life killed grimm style in his arms.
I think my favorite stories are the royals trying to maintain their hierarchy of the world and their most powerful wesen getting stopped and killed by Nick, this one pain in their ass guy from Oregon. lol.
I also like that Adalind's all powerful daughter gets electric purple color in her eyes when she does her thing. We always see red, blue or green in all of our supernatural heroes and villains. Maybe I don't watch enough comic based and sci-fi, but I can't remember ever seeing purple, lol.

So....the new season started. Filled us in on last season. Not sure how this season will go with the new weson trying to take over. We'll all know tomorrow.

Re: Grimm
That episode was really weird. Not sure if I liked it or not, or if this season is going to be good or if it will be when the show jumps the shark. Just going to wait and see I guess.

Re: Grimm
I couldn't remember a thing about how last season ended. I think they are trying to amp up the action, which is what you have to do these kinds of shows. I'm not really into Nick going rogue. Clearly, working as a team is what got him this far, and that team is pretty big now.

Re: Grimm
I feel the same as Lunk from last weeks first episode. So this week will be the decider for the season I think.
edit: spoiler below from last weeks first episode for season35. (if this isn't warning enough, you're too demanding)
I chuckled at the old school FX when Nick was standing alone in the living room, then sitting at the table and things started to appear then his mother's head in the box, then multiples of her head in boxes. I couldn't figure out where that old style was from and just figured twilight zone. Then when I woke up Saturday morning I said Bewitched! It was as if the director from bewitched directed that scene. All it was missing was a musical flourish every time something appeared, lol.

Re: Grimm
That whole sequence was so weird and awkward and bad looking. It honestly made me lower my expectations. Hopefully they won't pull any more lame stunts like that.

Yeah, they're keeping me engaged with episode 2. Funny that the guy from the new Dr. Ken (Dr Ken's nurse) was the the wemlinger on grimm. I watched Grimm right after Dr Ken and I was all, HEY COOL!!!

Re: Grimm
Yeah, that was a weirdly notable moment. They're keeping me interested with the other stuff going on. We're just waiting for Nick and Adelind to start falling for each other and then Juliet to return at the worst possible moment.
Also, spoiler alert: How did Trubl know how to find Nick...?
