Every Noise at Once – scatter plot musical genre explorer
Every Noise at Once is pretty cool, I think it's generated from spotify data, and you can hear snippets of music in the genre by clicking on them. You can also drill down by clicking on the little arrows next to the genre and see examples of bands in the genre. Of course the more you click into it, the more you realize that genres are sorta bullshit. I thought some of the bands that ended up in the 'low-fi' genre didn't belong there, but hey, it's still cool.
