So, sorry to turn down singing offers, but Frank Bennett (http://www.frankbennett.com) himself has agreed to have a shot at singing on the tune. We will probably still need chorus singers, tho.
I think Spud and I are going to do the writing and arranging, hopefully this week if Spud has some time.
Come on new titles!

Holy crap, this is a great idea, I love swing.
I haven't played in a really long time, but I would love to bring out my Alto Sax for another hurrah. And I going out to buy a real mic today, too.
I also played electric bass in my high school jazz band, so if you guys are willing to settle for that, I'd love to. Vocals are also available, though I think my voice is a little too thin for that great swing/lounge Bobby Darrin type sound. But I can imitate Royal Crown Revue pretty well .

How about a sidefight project? With all this talent and instrumentation available it might work out better. I can offer guitar and vox and I have access to one badass bass player, a mean saxophonist that has and can play alto, tenor and baritone, as well as clarinet and flute, and a keyboard / trumpet / trombone playing master arranger. I shouldn't speak for them but if we're willing to work without a one week deadline I could probably persuade them.
