I'm excited. I had just joined the ranks of the top 10 posters and now I feel there is a new plateau to reach. To be a Flume.jimtyrrell wrote:On a semi-related note (well, not really), my dreams of being THE FINGER were squashed today when we went to the 'carnival ride' scheme. I'm a lot lees excited about someday being a FLUME. Maybe it'll grow on me.
I think Fluffy should get his own special rank (being that he's been on the board since 1963). I vote for Great Bear.

Yeah, I asked my artist friend to come up w/ some art for my SF av and that's what he came up with. I wanted something that reflected the feeling of the band name (such as that expressed in the RH song) less than a literal interpretation, but that's what I got and beggars can't be choosersFurrypedro wrote:finally I can get that image of a middle-aged guy who's about to cack his pantaloons out of mind when listening to your songs. good call
At any rate, the same artist friend shot the photo of me that I'm now using which I think is smashing.

Hooray, pirates!
Since Guybrush is already taken, I'll go with Pirate Baby
Not my usual choice of avatar, but hey, whatever.
