Ray, you got me hooked up on Ed Kuepper..
I would love see his solo act in concert here in the east coast. Couldn’t get that much into The Saints though.

Their not getting younger and younger, you’re just getting older and older.
I feel the same way, and am only 26.

When I saw Fountains of Wayne the other week I was surrounded by 10-12 year olds. I felt old and I'm 17 :P

I've got tickets to see Slint on August 22nd. I never thought I'd be able to say that.

I just checked and it's sold out too

i saw john p. strohm last weekend. he doesn't play much anymore, and he lives in alabama. so seeing him at a bar in indiana was treat. the vulgar boatmen also played. i think they've been playing over 25 years now. two other bands (the spitshine and 806 main st. rounded out the show). as always, you can find free music from all these bands and more at http://www.musicalfamilytree.com and as soon as i mix the recordings, the entire night should also be up for download.
