I have spent the better part of the day listening to these, and I'm just totally floored by the coolness of the secret-santa-hxaro thing in general, and as it relates to me in this very specific case.
I'm diggin on all the tracks, and I'm lovin the High Density one and the HoMo one. The Semafore one and the Abominominous one, too. Crap, seriously, I like them all. Thank you Secret Hxaro Santa for setting this up, and for everyone for doing the songs.

Thanks Jack, I was pretty pleased with it, too. This one came out pretty much the way I heard it in my head after listening to the original. It's fun that these things help us push ourselves beyond our usual comfort zones. The hardest parts were learning the bass line and working out what for me were some unusual chords. It was nice to have such rich material to work with.

That's quite a treat isn't it? Ab. did a great cover.

I'd like to thank Erin from Loyalty Day for contributing vocals to my song, and of course thanks to Erik for the songs and Hxaro Santa for organizing this.
Out of curiosity, Erik, who is that singing the vocals at the end of your Leaving Las Vegas?

That's my-exgirlfriend Jen, who (when I told her I wanted her to sing a Heart song at the end) already knew all the words.
Erin's soundin real good. I really like all the guitaring weedling on this one,

Thanks Erik!
Jack, I did the drums using Reason. I played them on my keyboard and quantized them.

I wanted to post something in this thread, because it seems lonely now that there is a new kid in town.

It was posted day 2, fluffy - the 16th. Apparently, obs was unaware that there were more coming. Santa did a good job of keeping things under wraps.
