for the KiddiesongFight!

brody and the booger brigade
"Just Say Booger!"

much thanks to the booger brigade (chris c, courtney, elsa, noa, chris h, craig, phil, heather, spencer, and madi) and e money.

http://www.spewgrass.com/music/brody/jsb.mp3

"just say booger!"

got a special word
i use when i get mad
it's a kind of word
that's really not that bad
it's a brand new way
to get your message heard
next time you want to yell
then booger is the word

when you're feeling bad
just say booger
things are kind of sad
just say booger
got a D in math
just say booger
time to take a bath
just say booger

it's a body problem
everybody's got
every now and then
you've got to yell it out
helps me when i'm down
and feeling pretty blue
it's not a dirty word
unless you eat it too

homework time again
just say booger
well be home by 10
just say booger
overslept the test
just say booger
guess you know the rest

now you've got a word
that you can make your own
way of dealing with
the things that make you moan
never curse aloud
when you want to scream and shout
booger is the word
when you wanna let it out

just say booger
just say booger
just say booger
just say booger
just say booger
just say booger
just say booger
just say booger
just say booger
etc.

Animal Song
by E Money

The lyrics (in case you want to sing along):

Looked down the street
And I saw a duck
Looked the other way
And I saw a truck
I hope that duck don’t run over the truck

Looked straight up
And I saw a bird
Looked straight down
And I saw a turd
I’m pretty sure that turd made the bird

Chorus:
Animals are everywhere
I see them every day
As long as they’re around me
Things will look OK
Things will look OK

Looked in the water
I saw a fish
Looked on my table
And I saw a dish
I hope that dish don’t wind up on the fish

Look over there
And I see a fly
Looks like he’s heading
Right for my—

Animals are everywhere
I see them every day
As long as they’re around me
Things will look OK
Things will look OK

Hey, that's a great song, but why on earth did you reverse the lyrics? It confuses and annoys me.

It’s a kid’s song: lyrics are reversed for fun and silly wordplay.

but the lyrics are fun and silly without reversing them. Reversing them just makes them confusing. IMHO.

Plus, a song about trucks running over ducks would be inappropriately morbid for ill children. But this way, everyone wins!

Please tell me there's still time to do something for this! I wrote a whimsical children's song a long time ago which I've been meaning to record for a while... and now I actually have some semblance of spare time!

Bungmonkeys. I didn't know about this until a couple hours ago, and it's already too late to record without upsetting my neighbors. But I should be able to do it tomorrow evening! Really!

ya'll have another day or so, as requested by somebody.

remember, these are for kids. for the sidefight put whatever you want in them, but if you want to be considered for the compilation CD, don't include subject matter that's not appropriate for someone under 12.

this includes polar bears making love, as adorable an image as that may be.

Ooo, cool. I really want to do something for this, but I can't come up with a good subject yet. I wish I had written "Steve Threw Up" instead of Beck. That'd be perfect.

Damnit, yet another stupid "crap we're not going to be done with the game today" came up after all, so Happy Kerpuffle Fluff will have to remain unrecorded for now.

Thinking back on all of my released songs, I guess "Chucky (he's so gay)" would be kinda-suitable for this compilation if it were recorded better and had a different title. Maybe "Husky Youth" as well. Or maybe kids would like my vocal stylings in "Acid Mouth." Whatever. I'm sure it won't break any little kiddies' hearts to not have any fluffy porcupine tracks on their charity compilation.

Hope we're not too late.

Chad and Justin wrote this song before I even met them, and it seemed to be a good match for this compilation.

Since we are normally Drink Drank Drunk, we thought the Artist name "DDD" would be more appropriate this time.

ROCK!

Honestly, I don't think kids will take it that way. You should leave it as is.

drink drank drunk always reminds me of the song from "when the grinch stole christmas" --- "stink stank stunk!"
maybe the kids too.
