It's sunny and 16C outside (around 61F). The previous record was 46F (1996).

Saw a blurb yesterday that it is warmer in New York than in LA. Crazy.

I, however, am located in the little hole of normal temperatures in the middle of California.

Thankfully cool on Toowoomba. But over 100 homes lost to bushfire in Victoria on Xmas day. Nasty.

Yeah, it was an amazing X-Mas weekend here. It was May again. Totally unreal. I wonder the last time it was anywhere near this mild. I can't remember it.

Spent a week in Memphis, TN, visiting my in-laws. I had to declare a moratorium against talking about the weather.
