Time to finally start working on my robot army

Oh by the way I'm expecting to be unable to actually play most instruments for this. I wouldn't mind working with others to record a virtual band set of my songs. Anyone interested, DM me and also pick like 2-3 of my songs you'd want to play and let's get conversant about it.

I need some deadlines. There is a lot of working parts to the proposed LWRG set so I need to plan.

Get your stuff in by August 1st. That's not a real deadline, but if you want one there you go. *evil grin*

I'm guessing they'll want at least a week to get things organized based on last year. Except maybe for the live fight. I'm not help at all, am I?

For reference: I will be traveling in the UK for these dates, so I will not be able to MC. I'll try to put together a set of some kind though.

Here are some deadline details as we refine our planning:
There will be limited slots on each of the two performance nights to avoid an extra long show on the second night. We will have sign ups soon. The deadline for each of the performance shows will be the Sunday before the night, so 8/15 for the 21st and 8/23 for the 28th. The live fight deadline will be the day before the show 8/28.

I have a version of the theme song around if anyone'll have it. Came out pretty good, if very Paco-ish, i dare say. Can I send it somewhere or to someone?

I believe the dropbox link from last year is still active.

Maybe email the fightmaster or something though because I don't think anybody is actively monitoring last year's Dropbox link currently. We're still sorting out the video file sharing setup for this year.

Normally I’d complain but that makes my job a lot easier this year. I’ll cull my set list accordingly.

Please use this sign up form to let us know which night you'd like to perform. I'll watch the sign ups and updates the number of slots each night. I'm starting with 10 each night to make a tight 2 hour show if everyone uses all of their 12 minutes.

The form is asking for a video upload right now - are we just trying to reserve a slot now, or do we need to have our set ready to broadcast when we apply?

I should have explained this better. I set the form up so that you can update your entry. Sign up for your spot now, and then upload your video or provide a link by the deadline. If that doesn't work, we will figure something else out.

I made the form so that it will send you a copy of your responses. You can use that email to then go back to the form and upload.

Okay, I tried to attach my video to the form but it said "maximum file size exceeded". Please advise.

I'd suggest reencoding at a lower bitrate (6Mbps should be plenty), or uploading to GDrive and sending a download link.
