The Song Fight Bulletin Board

It's been over a year. I know Spintunes is coming up, but I'd love to have any least one of these going.

Anybody have a particular one they'd like? It's been the longest since Original Flava.

I'm game for a 2022 Original Flava. I always prefer Sidefights for/about Songfighters: Original Flava, Hxaros, etc.

It's been 5 years since the last Themesong Fight, and there's been plenty of new blood since then, I'd be into that too.

Of course SpinTunes is starting up soon, and then I suspect Nur Ein will kick off shortly afterwards, so timing might be dicey.

Sign me up. But yeah, maybe between Spintunes and Nur Ein might be useful, or at least a longer lead time.

Yeah I don't know much about hosting this sort of thing, I guess I could get some kind of server set up. Or heck, post the songs on github or something.

I think both BandCamp and SoundCloud would let you host audio files for free?

Oh. Duh. I'm so used to these being hosted on other platforms that didn't occur to me for some reason...

Um yeah - so obviously the SpinTunes thing will make it a little tougher right now, but I'm totally up for a Gift of Music or Original Flava

You can host files on this here forum thing, using the "attachments" functionality. It's a little janky though. But also songfight.net has basically unlimited storage available.

Are we still doing this after Nur Ein?

Sounds like a plan. Once timing is set, I can schedule a Listening Party for it if people are game for one.
