Since Niveous brought up Jellyfish on the SF 1000 podcast '2 Jerks One Vote' podcast, I thought folks might like the latest fan tweaking of their archive pulled by Kai Danzberg, who is the unofficial band archivist.

Since they released the Stack-A-Tracks, he wanted a vocal stem version of their songs, and since Jellyfish never managed to put one out, he went and did them himself. I'm amazed how they came out - not perfect, and Andy can be heard hitting a few pitchy notes in places, but I missed how their harmonies actually were accomplished, and these help parse out how they recorded in the early 90's.

note: most of the results are pretty good! some songs didn't work perfectly but overall it completely is a revelation of how the band created their vocal-harmonies.

Some amazing stuff there from the band, including the fan remastered 4k version of their German TV concert. My jaw dropped watching how they remastered this in 4k tv on Youtube. I highly suggest taking the hour to watch the band in action from 31 years ago on a big TV if you can.

I enjoy hearing separate vocal stems so I took a listen out of curiosity, not being familiar with Jellyfish. Those are some impressive vocals and vocal arrangements! So now I'm listening to the "Spilt Milk" album, and wow, this is some fantastic stuff.
