What the hell, I'll bite.

Post by inevitableguy »

OK, so I just submitted a track for "Diggin' Out", my third songfight, so I thought I'd go so far as to formally introduce myself here.

I've already informally introduced myself (and been asked to be awesome) on the pre-fight threads, but I'll include a little background here.

Most of my work is recorded under the name "Naked Philosophy". I've been using it for years for my solo work, it even has a myspace page. *shudder*

More recently, I've been working on some...er...unusual stuff. I hide that crap behind the name "The Tedward Nixon Experience", which does not have a myspace page, but you'll be seeing that name in the "Diggin' Out" fight. It seems odd that I created a "side project" for a band that was a solo project to begin with, but that's the way I roll.

Prior to these incarnations, I was in several bands, the most notable of which was No Money. By notable, I mean we had at least 3 or 4 fans. And that's 3 or 4 more than any of the other bands I've been in.

And that's that.

I guess your introduction was inevitable.

Inevitably you'll kick my ass.

Well, not on Diggin' Out, as I don't have a song for that one, but some day soon.

From what I hear it is semi-common to have different band names for different genres you do. Look at me, all along I was planning on "Mr. Beany's Bedtime Band", and since my first entry had no instruments (or tune) I opted for a different name.

It's not strange to have multiple names... If I record something that doesn't fit what I normally do, like some Country Porno song or something... then I'd release it under another pseudonym... ;)

Hey fellow n00b. :)

I used to either label my songs as Dust, or I'd tack on my full name (Léger).

My other project is FukenCanuckens. Aw yeah.
