"The competitors will have 5 days to complete the song for that round. Due to the new 7 day rounds, every round will include a weekend (unlike in previous editions)"
So, do I understand correctly that each round will begin midnight on Wednesday and be due midnight on Monday?
Trying to decide if I'll be able to be in or not. It'd be unfair for me to potentially take somebody's slot if I know I won't get back from my trip in time to record anything for round 1.

Re: Nur Ein IV: Round Zero
The way I read it, it seems to me like it will be due before Monday begins - by the midnight that divides Sunday from Monday.

Re: Nur Ein IV: Round Zero
You don't have to be able to whistle. You are not restricted to the "You just put your lips together and blow" type whistle.
Think laterally. A human body punctured with bullet holes and thrown of a high cliff will make a whistling sound during descent. Recording it may be tricky though.
All you need is a source of air blowing out of or across a bodily orifice. The possibilities are endless. I am currently suspended naked from the ceiling above an array of 27 bicycle pumps. I need no other instruments.

I don't think my farts are in tune unfortunately. Plus I'd still need someone to pull my finger.

By "due midnight on Monday," you mean the minute that divides Sunday from Monday, the minute immediately following 11:59 P.M. on Sunday night... right?

Here's how it all goes.
Wednesday at 12AM (EST), I give out a title.
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday= Work on Songs Time
Monday at 12AM(EST), that song should be in.
Monday, Tuesday= Judging
Wednesday at 12AM(EST) it all starts over again.

Crap, so my songs are due on Sunday at 9:00pm. Well that's just GREAT!
This is going to be very difficult to meet my Nur Ein's resolution, but I'm determined.
......You're testing me Nur Ein, aren't you? Aren't YOU?!

If a 12-hour time format is set, Microsoft Windows and Office applications denote noon by "12 pm" and midnight by "12 am".
