Victorian teams have smashed other states in just about every sport played at a national level in 2009.

Melbourne's NRL crown adds to Geelong's AFL premiership, the Bushrangers' Sheffield Shield cricket trophy, Melbourne Victory's A-league soccer title and national triumphs to the Vixens in netball and the South Dragons in basketball.

there's a great restaurant near me called victoria, awesome beer list. i didn't know they had any professional sports teams, though.
