Hello. I'm the newest n00b.

Hello there.

I've gazed with admiration at songfight for years - always cursing my own lack of microphones and creativity for being unable to enter. The idea of recording/writing a song in one week was mind boggling.

Now that I'm older and wiser, or now that I've gotten over myself, I've returned to enter for the first time ever. It's a momentous occasion. I'm glad to see SF! is still going.

I hail from Glasgow in Scotland.. and that's about it.

Welcome to Songfight, please be awesome!

Ya know, when I read about your problem sending in your submission, "I checked everything twice and still got it wrong," I sez to myself, "hey, it's another old guy!" Not sure how old you are when you say old, but I do stuff like that all the time - the songfight stuff I have pretty much under control, but, writing bills, forgetting passwords, stuff like that :-)

P.S. I considered posting this same post twice just for its onomatopoeaic value, but, ya know, been there, done that...

Welcome. I liked your entry. I said that you sounded a bit like our long time member, Jon Eric.

Actually, as it turns out... 22 is probably a bit below average.
Tough to gauge exactly, because many people have come and gone; also, those among us who have already voted are now as much as four years older than we were at the time...

Yeah, you see that lonely 2% at the end? That's me. Not sure who the other n00b in that category is...

I changed brackets about nine months after that poll was posted. And I'm going to upgrade again in another 13 months.

Maybe it's time for a new poll?
