Re: I keep hearing about this in the news (Natural Stupidity prefight)

Maybe the date is wrong, but there's an entry for Red Robot from 2001 that looks to be your art. https://sfjukebox.org/fights/red_robot This surprised me, because I was still on slow af dialup back then! I did a little digging, and it looks I made this around 2004 as a retroactive art. You had me q...

Re: I keep hearing about this in the news (Natural Stupidity prefight)

Thanks for clarifying. Do we know who's behind the curtain for the ai coverbot? <detective emoji> Fwiw, I did not try with power plants because I very much liked your submission and did not want to compete with it ;) The AI art was good too, but I assumed it was not a human tinkering with prompts. I...

Re: I keep hearing about this in the news (Natural Stupidity prefight)

Okay, I' got my submission in before the coverbot this week, so I'm hoping I have a shot! (Is coverbot just a person typing the title into a DALL-E type thing? Or is it actually a bot-bot?)

Re: Photoshop Woes / Returning from the Dead?

Check out GimpShop. http://www.gimpshop.com/ It is based upon the Free Open Source GIMP program http://www.gimp.org/ however it tries to aim for the same user-interface as Photoshop. Apparently Photoshop filters even run on it. It may be enough of a comfortable environment for you to do your thing....

Photoshop Woes / Returning from the Dead?

It's been a while since I've posted on the SF board. I actually lost my password for a while... I gave myself a new computer for my birthday, and I was unable to transfer over my (blackbearded) copy of Photoshop, so that's one of the big reason behind my lack of cover art submissions. :( I miss doin...

Re: That went over like a rock... (Rosetta Reviews)

So I'm working my way through many old songs...

I wish I had been able to vote for your Rosetta submission, RattPoizon. It was an amazing example of the very rare occurance of an instrumental submission fitting the title perfectly.

I hate hate hate Suresh so much. "Oh, Sylar is threatening to kill me, so I'll give him the blood he wants so he won't kill me... even though he will definitely kill me once he gets his powers back." As the show has gone on, the characters have become more and more one-dimensional. And mor...

Britney Spears walked into a bar. Nine months later, it wasn't funny anymore.

Where is September 27th?

I have a secret, and it will not be sent to PostSecret. Speaking of, I HATE the "I have a terrible secret..." ones. Ugh. If you don't actually reveal it, how are you releasing any burden?

Typos. Words spelled incorrectly. Working for a low-rent printer, I see a lot of them. Lack of anti-aliasing FTW! My two biggest grammatical peeves are mishomonyms and catapostrophes--the worst is the intersection of the two: "This is you're birthday!" and "I gave the dog it's food.&...

NEIN! sick so heaven!

My senior at work just came in and said my groupmate and I match. He is wearing a cranberry shirt, and I am wearing a faded plum shirt. She must be colorblind. It annoys me when people think different things are the same. I once was accused of uploading the same image under two filenames to an image...
