So now we hold Songfight Special Olympics?
And sit on our hands for another 4 years?
Do we have to hold a submission process for a host country?

Re: August 13, 2008
This one was stolen directly from Fozzie Bear. Many years ago - I was the President of a engineering student society. One of that societies proud, long running traditions was the organisation of a live sex show for its members. ' Kulcha Nite ' as it was know was truly the most depraved thing I have...

Re: August 4th: THE I HATE GOING BACK TO WORK THREAD
Went and saw Devo last night. This is the greatest year ever, Ween AND Devo. For a bunch of, lets face it, old dudes, Devo go off. Gerard Casale is particularly sprightly. Saw Devo at Livid 97. They were old and sensational then. Can't imagine that 10 years would hurt them much. Actually - now I th...

I always figured you could just replace Brett and Jemaine from the Flight of the Conchords TV show with basically any two SFers, and it would still all work.

Re: Currently Playing ...
I'm currently playing FUCKING INFURIATING GTA IV MOTORCYCLE MISSIONS , I'm glad I'm not the only one that found these frustrating. I think, though, that all you have to do is make sure you don't lose the target. Don't worry about trying to drive and shoot or anything like that, it seems most of tho...

I'm with you on that jack.jack wrote:from a strictly commercial standpoint, beck's "midnight vultures" inspired me in alot of ways.
Also, www.tism.wanker.com (its an album name, not a link!) and, recently, Gravity Won't Get You High by The Grates, have been epiphany generating.

Re: June 19th, 2008
Welcome to the parade of miserable sods! SongFight must be a haven for people not acting their age, because I'm in the same position. Everyone I know are all off, getting married, having families, wearing proper suits, worrying about bills and finances while I'm still about computer games, bad music...

I'm not usually too savvy at shooters, either, but Team Fortress 2 looks pretty cool and I'll prolly check that out soon. I'm not as impressed with GTA4 as I thought I'd be. It's last on my list right now. I play TF2 all the time. Its great. To begin with its confusing, and slightly frustrating, bu...

I got a new job yesterday. I'll be working for a company called HWR Media doing print layouts. So pretty much what I was doing for the last company I worked for, but for a higher hourly rate. Nice.

Re: GTA IV
Anyone played it multiplayer? Quite satisfying, when you get a game with some semi-competent people. I'm quite a fan of the 'scanario' type game types: Cops and Robbers, GTA Race, that sort of thing.

So I have a job interview today, for this media company. Fairly high profile place, so much so, I had to go out and buy a suit for the interview. I always forget how much I like suits until I get into one again.

QOTD: Drums. Guitar. I have considered buying a guitar and actually learning how to play it, but most of my favourite interactions with the songfight community involve me begging for guitars, so I am hesitant to do this.

And my entry is sent.
My crescendo came out terribly, so I shoe-horned in a reference to it lyrically as well. Hopefully the combined weight will satisfy the criteria.
