As it happens, Lucy Dacus' album "Home Video" was easily my favourite of 2021, I listened to it several times a day for a little while there (why yes, I was having a pretty rough time, thanks for asking). It's heavy stuff (albeit not all as heavy as Thumbs) but incredible songwriting. And ...

I got nowhere really, energy levels have been low. But at least I reorganised my "studio" and recorded a couple of covers.

No worries. I guess I'm in more of a NaSoAlMo mindset this month. I'm trying to work on music every day but I think I'll try to claw it together into something vaguely cohesive at the end of the month rather than sharing them all as I go.

I guess I'm not doing Novembeat then.

I'm still making stuff but mostly instrumentals that I want to add vocals to before sharing. Somebody remind me how to write lyrics pls.
