Some Casio-esque bossanova-ish instrumental stuff with keys and drum machine and synth bass and general MIDI percussion.

Re: Fun-A-Day 2019 and Jamuary 1

Last night's music was the forthcoming BSS song. Tonight I've crossed the half way point! I made some instrumental electronic music with some analog synth and drums and stuff.

Two weeks! It's already wearing on me, oy. Tonight I made some cute indie flick soundtrack music with uke, glock, melodica, etc.

Re: Fun-A-Day 2019 and Jamuary 1

Tonight I managed to get a fairly decent solo white guy approximation of an afro beat groove. It's not terrible, I swear! Erin is very critical of white funkiness and she gave this a pass.

Re: Fun-A-Day 2019 and Jamuary 1

I managed to make a "full band" song, with lyrics and vocals today! I played bass, keys, and acoustic and electric guitar, and programmed drums. It's a bit corny but I think it has some good stuff in it.

Re: Fun-A-Day 2019 and Jamuary 1

I quickly wrote and live recorded a song tonight about 'Instant Band Night" before heading out to ... Instant Band Night. IBN is a very Song Fight! esque event in spirit, where anybody can show up, put their name on piece of paper in coffee tins for drums, bass, guitar, vocals, miscellaneous, and ar...

I'm very sick, and almost didn't finish this last night. But, I'm in. Not quite yet, Berkeley Boys!
Rats! We would have gotten away with it, too, if it hadn't been for you kids! :P Seriously though, hope you feel better soon!

BSS is in too. Ken was sick so listeners will have to suffer through my drumming and mixing.

My music for yesterday is the new BSS song for the "Sing of the Times" fight. My music for today is some analog keyboard jamming over some bangin' drum loops.

Why do jazz musicians get to have all the fun? And how...

Wow, that is cool. I'll have to check that out. Deep Throat said the current title was just a riff on "Sign of the Times", and was not proposed with any knowledge of that Johnny Cash song.

I made an actual song tonight, although it's only about 90 seconds long. This one is about drowning/being buried in stuff.
