I'll have to let go of my habit to incorporate the song's title in the lyrics. The title does speak to me many things, but I can see where Lord of Oats is coming from - none of them seem worthwhile to pursue.

Meh, I'll just focus on music the coming days. I'm entirely in.

Thanks man. I'll try to participate in My Darling Ruin with a style more similar to Glutton. Hope it works out well :)

Thanks for the comments, people! I've learned a lot through them, and definitely know what I shouldn't do (which is good, because listening to it now I agree entirely). Next time it's all-out one-man band time. I think I'm fairly past the guy&guitar thing, but with only 2 hours before the deadli...

Glad I'm not one of them, since voh is just a shorter version of my old nickname. I've seen it spelled uppercase as if it were an abbreviation, which was weird, but I've gotten used to it ;)

Voh: The verse chord progression and lead bit sound amazing. You’re pressing some really good harmonic buttons there. I really like this track. Cool vocal delivery. And by the second chorus, I’m totally hooked by how simple and incredibly catchy it is. Even though things turn a ...

I had an entry almost ready for the Glutton songfight, but I couldn't find a vocal style which matched the song. Damnit, and it was one of my best songs I'd written for songfight in the history of me writing for songfight too

So I left it as an instrumental, and I'm still proud of it :)

It could be either the result of recording it with the built-in macbook microphone, or the fact that it's a spanish guitar with only 4 strings.. I promise I'll use my new hardware next time :)

Another happy tale of insanity. But hey, it has an oldgame reference ^_^ A Friendly Reminder - by voh ---------------------------------- Here's a friendly reminder. Of the promises you made so long ago. That you'd, look upon me today, and decide, whether or not still to hate me. 'Cause I know, it's ...

Thought I'd also offer thanks and respond to the reviews :) Good if a little barren, lyrically it feels like you've put too much in, kinda feel I'm sort of dragged along rather than going with the flow, definate promise though! You may be right about that. I wanted to tell a story, and perhaps I too...

Quite simply, I have a mic plugged into the mic-in. I've recorded from VHS tapes (old stuff, don't ask) through the line-in. Both worked perfectly, even though recording off of VHS is bloody hell. I use Audacity to record, but even de-muting the line-in doesn't relay any sound to my system. It's get...

Alesis 1622 & my computer don't like each other

I've recently gotten (gotten, yes. I wouldn't have paid for the damn thing) an Alesis 1622 mixer. It's not the best, but eh, for an old analogue mixer it fares well enough. However, though, I have a problem. When I hook it up either to my guitar amp or my regular home-and-kitchen amp, it works fine....
