Howdy everyone. Just a little post to let you know I'm looking for backup vocals for the title track of my next album. Details are here if you're interested. Thanks!

One option is to use the Coral Content Distribution Network: http://www.coralcdn.org/ This would help you take some of the load off your server while still staying with your current host. I can also put up a torrent for you if you want, so people can download the stuff using Bittorrent. Email me at ...

60% seems like a crummy deal for what amounts to a bit of bandwidth, storage and order processing. Unless the site can actually drive some sales to you, I don't get why anyone would use it. Just sign up with CD Baby for $30 + barcode and you wind up in all the digital services and also have online o...

Guitar amp for live shows
I know nothing about this: what's a good/inexpensive guitar amp suitable for live shows? The guitar sound will be coming from my Boss GT-6, so it doesn't really need to have much in the way of whistles and doodads on it. I currently only have a small dumb amp that I never use.

When I was doing my album I thought about joining everything together into one big file but eventually it just seemed too cum...

This has definitely gotten over-complicated. I've signed a whole bunch of licensing contracts for everything from tiny film festivals to mix CDs to local television to VH1. The amateur contracts tend to be the longest and weirdest and I tend to avoid them now just because it takes a lot of time to f...

Re: General Tips
A thread for whatever you think people might want to know but don't. Somebody here mentioned that you can play URLs in Winamp just by dragging the URL from your browser's address bar onto Winamp. I have to say that this is AWESOME. The most frustrating thing for me about switching from IE to Firefo...
