Re: I'm crushing your head (A Problem of Perspective Reviews)
Dying Light – Damn, Mighty Mighty Bosstones much? I like where this is going! Your vocals need to do better than that to compete with the muscle of the rest of this song. I feel like I’d like this a lot more if you were singing the exact same thing, just a lot louder. Is there any chance you could ...

Re: I'm crushing your head (A Problem of Perspective Reviews)
Dying Light: man, those are some clackity-clack drums. Not really a bad thing. Ohhh, I liked the beginning a lot more than the verse.. it had me expecting a sort of pop-punk approximately 10 years this song's senior...? Maybe? Is that right? The weak vocals are fine by me. I don't think you shoulda...

Re: I'm crushing your head (A Problem of Perspective Reviews)
HAH! Timing ? in music ? crucial ? naaaaaaa I meant perfect timing, or timing in a unusual time signature. I think I can keep 4/4 or 3/4 pretty well in my head. Either way, I recorded it live, via a DI and a condenser mic for vocals, I did it the way I intended it to sound. I think music is about f...

Re: I'm crushing your head (A Problem of Perspective Reviews)
Dying Light - Now I'm glad to see this style of music has been included, dont see it often. And the music has got me listening. Although the guitar and drums aint that tight it dont distract to much. The vocals do need to be stronger for this time of song, really open your lungs and let rip. Feels ...

Re: MC Eric B
I completely understand, guys. I'm pretty self-conscious about singing as well, and I don't think there's any easy way to get over it. But I also feel it WILL effect your vocal performance... The best thing I've found that helps me is being comfortable. That usually means not having to worry about ...

Review time :) Plain Songs for doves and Tigers : Definitely a well put together song, and interesting to listen to. The bit where the flutes (or whatever they were) came in was cool. The Capitalist Youth : Nice vocal harmonies, I really like this song Melvin: Cool synth, and a catchy tune. Andre Wa...

I listened to the last one about 15 minutes go. Advice for what I remember of it (and any songs which suffer from the same problem) - make distinct sections - more chord progressions is good - one progression for a whole song is boring, even if there' s a cool guitar solo on top. There are ways to ...
