Therman One World None
I buckled down and finished an album that's been a few months in the making. You can download it for free here. http://www.ummband.com/therman/ They're 320kbps mp3s, and I think they sound aiight. The band name is Therman this time. And I'm not going to claim that the name's here to stay, cause then...

How about removing "the" and turing it into Coldstone Caper?
Or some variation on Coldstone. It's a little too much like Coldplay, but I like the two words crunched into one idea.

Re: How About "The Stone Cold Caper"
Still think Umm is the best band name you've had. Don't quote me on this... ;-) ... but I think I agree with Rone. Haha, I won't quote you on this. But seriously, I feel like "umm..." doesn't really embody anything. It feels like a cop-out name to me. But it seems unanimous that stone col...

Re: Who Needs a Prefight Thread?
Can anyone give me hints on how to encode into .mpe format? I'm guessing you're going for mp3, not mpe. Am I right? If so, I use Audacity to convert to mp3. Just make sure you have the LAME Mp3 Encoder before you start. Once you open up your file (I'm assuming it's a wav) in audacity, just click fi...

Re: Foot In Mouth Disease
Ooooh, I remembered what i actually want to say. Think of all the huge bands, The Beatles, the Pixies, Nirvana, anyone ... they all have TERRIBLE names that don't describe the music they are playing. The trick, I think, is that if your music is good enough, you inhabit the name you have chosen, so ...

Re: Monkey like song, give banana (Monkeys on my Back reviews)
BAM! New account. I'll try a jast-like rating system this time. Atmosphere=A, Entertainment=E, Musicianship=M, Production=P. A&E are out of 5, while M&P are out of 3. Berkeley Social Scene - That's a good intro and verse, and definitely some nice harmonies. Lyrics are kind of interesting, bu...
