edit: oh, you're talking about the art, not the song. yeah, after I'd submitted it I got to thinking I should have matched it to the shift shown in the picture.

Anyway, while people are being creeped out by BLT's one, here's one that's either easy or impossible. Either way it's a stretch, but damn I'm lazy.

Re: Bass tuner buzz?
Suggestions: Using masking tape, tape both on the peg/post and button/paddle right next to the crack between the peg and button. Now use silicone rubber from a tube and squeeze a thin bead in the crack between the masking tape. With your finger, press the bead of silicone into the crack and wipe of...

Re: Bass tuner buzz?
Actually what's causing the buzz is the tuning key(?) itself. I don't know if that's what it's called or not, but the part that you actually turn is actually jiggly on a couple of the tuners. If you hold them still and keep them from jiggling with one hand when you pluck the string, the buzz is gone...

So I saw a Peavey Fury with hard case and Crate BX-25 pop up on Craigslist for 100 bucks today and I couldn't resist since it was cheap and I've been wanting one to tinker with for a while. My first guitar was a Peavey Raptor, so I knew they are at least decent for a lower-end brand. Anyway, I've be...

Re: Are there any cool art websites?
I'm playing with Fireworks MX, I've had it forever but just got around to doing the built-in tutorials and I wish I'd done it way sooner, cool little program. At least it gives me something to work with until I can afford the Adobe Web Premium CS3 suite I have my eye on. This is the first pure drawi...

You ever have an idea you think is pretty good for the verse, and then you start working on a chorus that you think is okay but when you play it back it sounds like horrible, horrible cheese? Yeah, that's where I am with this one.

Adobe CS3.3 Purchase Question
I know there are some web designers on here so I have a question: if I were to find a used copy of say Macromedia MX Studio on eBay, and then try buying the CS3.3 Web Premium as a Suite, do you think I'd run into any problems? It seems to me, even if I have to buy an older Macromedia or Adobe suite,...

Not to mention you'd probably want to then spring for a decent firewall since running your own server at home opens you up to all kinds of malicious attacks (one of the main reasons I decided against trying it).

Not to mention you'd have to either pay for a static IP or use a domain forwarding service.

No, first rule of song fight is: you do not talk about song fightto all of your non-song fighter friends to get them to friend-flood your song.

Job Training
So I may possibly be looking for a new job soon (this work from home for a company in Atlanta was never intended to be permanent, so they may let me go at any time) and browsing the classifieds has been a little un-nerving. Every job I've had so far has been some type of position where I just happen...

LMNOP - Those were very interesting and well thought-out reviews but... were any of them for mine? Oats and Ray, thanks for the votes. This new voting method set me personal best. I know perhaps each vote is not "worth" as much, since you're not voting for your favorite. But still, i...
