Yes. Although, I did just learn (about 2 hours ago) that my grandmother passed away two days ago... which was also my daughter's birthday. Strangely, my wife's grandmother passed away on my son's birthday this year. Odd coincidences. Although I'm not subscribing to any relevance for these coincidenc...

Dude, I'd do drums for ya but Im not back home UNTIL Sat... so unless I get out of here early (at a "camp' job right now) you'll just have to stop pestering me and try someone else. But seriously, that would have been fun... as it is, I have something I whipped up on Sat for this fight. Again, ...

Re: Chill out, already (Everybody Calm Down reviews)
How is it that Octothorpe sounds EXACTLY the same from the last time I listened... a few years ago now? I've been thinking about this for a few days and I've got to say - you've got me. We've got a new drummer. We have guitar. I have a new 8 string fretless bass that sounds like nothing I've ever h...

I know it's long dead as an issue... but whatever. I'm always impressed by Spud's moral dilemmas. Did I spell that right?? That said... "trollish songs". This is a new term to me. In fact, out of the entire discussion I found that to be the most disturbing label. I don't know how long that...

Re: Chill out, already (Everybody Calm Down reviews)
a Puppies And Pansies dig: the ridiculous sections sewn together. the second section vocals in particular, even more particular, "got a score to settle with my metal", lead and rythmn axes. don'ts: rythmn is way off in parts. too bad, because it's like a train-wreck. if you want I can sen...

I have it on good information that "gert" is actually Mike Reno.
So, take his advice with a grain of salt... he wears headbands on his thigh for chris' sake.

Re: Chill out, already (Everybody Calm Down reviews)
i should add that I've only used the spectral anal-lieser on over all mix, not a channel, and more to spot phasing, and now I'm regretting not taking the moment to do AT least that... oh well... I'm just not super knowledgeable in the EQ dept...
I do like to learn more though.

Re: Chill out, already (Everybody Calm Down reviews)
I do use spectrum analyser's from time to time... although I was too pressed for time. Lately, what I try to do as a minimum is run ensure that there is no clipping on each track (which I think I accomplished), and I try to low cut stuff that has no lows... like an open hi tom mic or some such thing...

in response to TT's review: Yeah I worked it for 5-6 hours straight... but as you know, I just seem to MISS eq decisions for some reason. When I was all done, I was thinking 'yeah, this sounds great" and maybe, for a Leaf production, it does. But then I listen to Gert, and its' like.. FUCK!! wh...
