Bitter Orange: By Andrew Reist Lyrics: Every single time you pass into my field of vision I just lose every sense of intuition Why can't I be your everything as you are mine Every single line that I've written thinking of you Just seems so pointless if you don't love me too Why can't I be your ever...

I picked up the delete with crossfade by the way. It's good. I think Audacity's pretty good, but once you record a lot of tracks it starts to skip and move slowly ... I guess you can't expect too much from a free program. Does anybody have a good free drum machine that you could point me in the dire...

I'm pretty much done my Bitter Orange , but before you get your hopes up, I don't have a good drum machine to help build up the song ... Other instruments can, but as a drummer, I just wish that I could add drums. The only drum machine I have is Hammerhead, and that's only good for techno. And this ...

I definitely like progressive, I used to have a progrock radio show in grad school, but Dream Theater never did that much for me. If you're interested you can still see my playlists on my website tho they're not really linked from anywhere any more. ( here ). -bill That's interesting ... I wish the...

You don't have 'none of them. Dream Theater suck' as an option. yeah. put a 'none of them' option. The biggest thing I found to be difficult to get past is the singer's (James LaBrie) voice. Still have trouble sometimes. But I guess that's way balanced out by the sheer enormity and brilliance of Po...

I read a bunch of the reviews about my first song, and I'm trying to change a lot of the new one to fit what people wanted in the other one ... it has more chords, etc. but I won't say much ... just don't want to get your hopes up in case you don't like it. :? I'm doing Bitter Orange . never change...

some good, some not
This was a tough one to judge. Pretty much every song was a good one. I particularily liked Gert, Jeff Robertson, Steve Durand, and The Bradshaw Ability. Oh and by the way I made the cover art for this one. Jeff Robertson - Interesting start ... I like the tapping sound. Singing's definitely better...

Re: Ye olde reviews
Someone who had only two months experience with music PERIOD could not come up with a chord progression and melody, and arrange multiple guitars to play together, like you did. You're right about that one too. I have been a drummer for about 4 years now, and played keyboard for a few years when I w...

Re: Ye olde reviews
Andrew Reist Nice guitar, but the effects are clipping a bit. Playing is good, but not stellar. The three guitars work well together, but the chord sequence gets a bit repetitive. No lyrics. Score: 5/10 I just wanted to point out that you are entirely correct. I wrote and recorded this song in abou...

Dream Theater!
Six months ago , I didn't appreciate music past the catchyness of the songs and how much the people jumped around on stage, but then I was introduced to Dream Theater by a friend of mine. Ever since, I have grown as a musician, learned an incredible amount about drumming, songwriting, and everythin...

Jeff Robertson - :? First off, predictable. I pretty much knew the tune and the chorus before you even began singing. That said, it's a pretty interesting sound. Somewhat obnoxious, but catchy at the same time. Singing needs lots of work. Needs less of the sliding to find notes. Aside from that, not...
