Re: 3/26/15 Beatles
One of the really evil but kind of light-sounding songs is Maxwell's Silver Hammer. I give that one credit just for saying "Joan was quizzical, studied pataphysical science in the home." I'm probably the only person on this forum who even thinks about pataphysical science! I prefer real sc...

These songs are probably good as far as the band, but that beautiful Stevie Nicks is why I started listening, and she does a song by herself called Edge of Seventeen that's better than any of the stuff by the band!

I would recommend writing a song about Mike Tyson beating people up and shoving them in a corner! Just kidding, that might be too graphic for you. Welcome aboard!

I have heard clips of many of their songs, but the one I just love (and have heard in full many times) is Particle Man. It was a staple of the Dr. Demento show, and almost a precursor to nerdcore!

Re: 3/28/15 Dylan
How did I know a Weird Al reference was coming just by seeing the name "Dylan" on the Song Fight site? But seriously, All I Really Want to Do is my favorite, partially because, in 1965 (a year after it came out), Cher did a remake, and Bob Dylan always sounded like Sonny Bono anyway, even ...

Thanks for reminding me of Gimme Shelter! I remember how in the movie 20 Feet from Stardom, they focused not on the Stones but on the backup singers! Wow! I say we do a Stone Fight, unless that's been done!

Re: 3/26/15 Beatles
My favorite is the song "Revolution #9." I hate how, every time I request it on a radio station, they think I mean "Revolution" because they're both Beatles songs! I like "Revolution" but I like "Revolution #9" a lot better; the tape loops, the "number ni...

Re: 3/27/15 Stones
In the 1970s, the Rolling Stones wanted to try and get out of their contract with a record company, so they did a song with sexual themes and profanity called School Boy Blues, a.k.a. Cocksucker Blues. It's a very rare song, and is probably not on any currently-available singles or albums, except ma...

Well, ten years since this fight! And it's amazing to know that it all came from someone's idea on the old Wishlist thread! Still the best Song Fight-related material in the history of our fine community!

Re: online stochastic music generators
I know this is slightly different than what you are talking about, but I remember a month or so ago hearing about the Fake Music Generator and how, when you load the page, the little bot on their server composes a whole album worth of music just for you. It's kind of plucky sounding (expected for be...

Even Debbie Does Dallas has been softcorified to the point of being pornless. The reason it is not embedded is because it is a link to Dailymotion, not YouTube, and I don't think the forum software has a way of embedding Dailymotion. I don't even watch porn, and last year at some point, I got around...

Spud is the best person in Fight Master Plaza, but the more people we have in the plaza, the smoother (as long as they are responsible). And Lunkhead is responsible; just listen to a song by BSS and you'll see! Or visit SF Jukebox. Anyone who can keep a site like that can help keep up Song Fight as ...

Being totally blind, I don't do much visual artistic stuff. However, there is the technology to draw a line with a specialized pencil on specialized paper and make a raised line, and therefore it is possible to make raised images, but I haven't done that lately. I know the basics, though.

I wasn't implying they broke up; I just know they've done solo work, and I was just saying, a black album of their solo work.
