Re: Who wants to collab with the the DeepOrb AI?

Can the human replace a MIDI instrumental track with one played by a human (maintaining the notes as much as is physically possible on the instrument)? How much song structure should be kept? Is it acceptable for ...

I would have been so tempted by that Vox deal if it was available in the UK.
That’s funny. I hate all these regional restrictions in general, but of all things, the Vox deal not being available in the UK. Amusing.

Also to Lunkhead & irwin: I have an SG and I don't really like it... :\ but I don't really like Teles either, so you may enjoy the SG more than I do... other than the terrible neck dive mine suffers from (partly due to heavy neck/partly due to terrible strap button placement) even with "we...

I am lusting after the Sequential Pro 3. Three oscillator mono/paraphonic synth with a super cool routing matrix and arpeggiator.

It seems the best song about chupacabras has already been made. I guess we can all go home.

Seriously, though, that is hard to top.

Re: Modern democracy (was: COVID-19 freakout thread)

I live in California. I have voted in every presidential election since 1992 (the first I was of legal age). I cannot recall a single election in which my vote had any bearing on the outcome.

I was going to say _maybe_ Clinton in ’92, but I just looked it up, and nope that wasn’t close either.

Instead I say peace be with his family and I hope he’s up there with a cocktail and a nine-mile long cigarette, hanging out with his brother and his cousin and his mom’s sisters. The best that you can hope for is to die in your sleep. Rest in peace, Kenny.

I admit to having a soft spot for the movie Six Pack. And I will watch it tomorrow. And I will cry. and that is OK.
