ah ... "The Lurker" is a great title. I'm going to be on a trip for the next week or so though so it's going to be tough to get something done by 6/30. But it's a good title to be rattling around in the meantime.

why isn't your work worth $35 to you? also going I-vi I-vi I-V I -V/V is a progression that is so common it is most certainly in public domain. couple points: 1. personally (and I don't think I'm alone here) I look at songfight songs as practice - they just aren't worth going to some special effort...

It's a good title, I am expecting a lot of entries for it. I want to get one in this time and have two ideas so far that are complete opposites of each other - one quite sad song idea - one quite happy song idea ... haven't made up my mind yet.

I can imagine this was a tough round to judge as all of the songs had some cool stuff going on, so it's no surprise it was so close (although I am a bit surprised Ken didn't make it to the finals) and doh... cool songs --- I think I'd have to go with Merisan & Ken for the final round if I were a judge. but last time the judges mostly disagreed with my picks ... so maybe that's not a good thing for Merisan & Ken.

noma - I'm curious as to what your personal challenges were? and I agree about enjoying the challenges --- I kind of wish there were some included in the songfight proper from time to time ... I prefer the ones that are something to do with the music rather than lyric based or the collaboration thin...
