What's up with Elton John's sudden case of Venom? He's been swearing at papparazzi & now he's swearing at Madonna
Elton: maybe try some medication

I was a huge Pink Floyd fan back in the day... I sort of grew apart from it but was hearing a rumor of a Pink Floyd reunion. So I did a search and found a Roger Waters website. Didn't realize that he even had one... There are two songs on it right now in streamable formats. They aren't half bad and tackle current political issues. However, I think that Roger Water's is a great musician but has definitely lost his touch in the vocal department. His voice just isn't quite the same anymore and it's painfully obvious however dishearting that is. I think his message is great but perhaps he should have someone else deliver it at this point. Only because it's hard to get over what he once sounded like.

I liked RW very much in Floyd but his solo albums were always a bit terrible - I think he needs the dynamic of Gilmore et al to reign him in & fire him up. Just my tuppence worth

Agreed. Also, with Floyd, he took on timeless metaphysical and social issues common to everyone. With his solo albums, he was more cheesy political. But don't forget, even with Floyd, he was heading that way (The Final Cut). Also, he was always so whiny. I was totally on the RW side until I saw an interview where Gilmour said something like "The Wall was great and all, but I'm just not crazy about blaming all your problems on everyone else." I was like, yeah, he's totally right.

Pros and Cons of Hitchhiking is an awesome album...it's before he loses his voice and has nothing to do with politics..just a dreamy little journey with Eric Clapton spilling out licks over the whole thing.

K.A.O.S. wasn't GREAT..I liked it as a kid...but now that it's gone..I havn't felt compelled to run out and buy it again. Amused to Death didn't even get a 'first buy'.
