So I'm here on business and hope to go out tomorrow night (Wed). Anybody have suggestions? Are you around, JB??

I'm in Alpharetta.

You're just jealous you're not scraping ice off your car in the morning. WTF, Atlanta? It's warmer in NYC.

It got damn cold here in Cali yesterday also. No ice, but it got down in the low 50s.

Yeah, I realize that is nothing for Canada. But it was in the 80s last week and bam, 47 (I checked after my first post) last night.

Still. If I complained about it being 10 degrees ever, I'd be a laughingstock. But really, how cold does it get in the winter in California?

Yeah, but flip it down and reverse it. How hot does it have to get before you start complaining?

I snowboard in our local mountains. At certain times in the winter, I can choose a sunny day at the beach or a snowy day in the mountains, within an hour and a half from each other. Life is good.

Probably about 35 degrees celsius. Is that standard heat in California?

But to be honest, about 10-15 degrees celsius is my favorite. It's usually like that in spring, which is refreshing after a winter of minus 30 to minus 40.

That would be awesome. In the winter, I usually stay inside since it sometimes gets painful to go outside. Unless you really bulk up on winter garb. But then the roads are dangerous and Calgary Transit breaks down almost weekly.
