Tamworth Songwriters Association National Contest

Who wants to be an Australian country songwriting star?

Tamworth is Australia's equivalent to Nashville, and the TSA's annual competition closes at the end of October - get in quick.

and remember...the girls go nuts over cowboy butts!

I'm a past place-getter in the Qld Division of the competition (see Stueym's "Ballard of Caravan Ray" for details) - but this year I'm going for the Nationals. Forget Glastonbury or The Big Day Out or Lollapalooza or any of that crap. The Tamworth Country Music Festival in January is THE place for any serious musician to aspire to.

Hubba Hubba Hubba!

I will now incur the wrath of the Bjam for being shallow and embarassing which is of course the primary role of any father of teenage girls!!
