I wanted to post my song for people to hear. It's the song I was going to make as my debut submission in the Welcome to ___ catagory.
For those who haven't seen my introduction thread, I am somewhat of a 'techno rapper' although this song is closer to actual singing than rapping but definatly not 100% singing as that would hurt your ears.
The title is Welcome to Your Heaven. It is about going to your safe place, in order to escape the world and it's problems.
All positive and negitive comments welcomed. If it's negitive give a reason, I don't accept "This sucks" as fair critizism. Thanks.

You'll take what you get mister, and you'll like it.Rone Rivendale wrote:I don't accept "This sucks" as fair critizism. Thanks.
This sucks.
Having said that I'll oblige you by telling you why I think that since you're new and all. First the instrumentation, if you want to call it that, is pretty nonexistant. Sorry, a musically tuned kick drum won't cut it and that buzzing going on the background is clearly trying to cover up your lack of ability in the vocal and music talent departments, and combined they sound like shit. From what I'm hearing here, your rapping ablities are suspect as well. Now let's talk about that beat and why it doesn't fit the vocals. It's like exactly half the time of the drum tempo. If you're going to try and syncopate something, don't do the vocals in half time. It makes the whole thing sound much more childish. On the mix side of things, it goes even further downhill. Everytime your vocals and that stupid buzzing sound come in there's like this dramatic rise in the hiss level. Oh and everything in the mix is so fucking centered I might as well be listening in mono. In fact, I'm not convinced I'm not.
It was probably a good thing that this was late. You get your feet wet, a couple of reviews and it's done in somewhat of a less public area as this was posted in the wrong fucking thread. Next time, try posting it here.
Whew, I sure do feel better. Are you sure you wouldn't rather settle for "this sucks" next time? Cause that's how I roll baby!
