Thanks—and I should have mentioned that the "kicking solo" was provided by my good friend—a rock and roll dad for sure—Leaf.

You can read some stories about Jam Toast here and here, and some other stories in the press section at http://www.jamtoast.ca

I also posted some video of me playing at a rowdy graduation recently (all right, it was a pre-school graduation, but still.)

That video is super cute. I should definitely order this for when I babysit kids (there are only so many Disney princess songs you can listen to without going a little mad).

Go ahead: download a free new Jam Toast track to get you and your rug rats in the mood to go back to school. Check it out here.

While you're there, check out the press section to listen to the CBC interview with Jam Toast. Do it if only to see the pics of my punk rock kids in the studio.

The new video for Jam Toast's Make Some Noise is up. You can watch it at my site or on Youtube.

Also, those in the Portsmouth, Va., area should check out WHOV 88.1FM's Young World Radio one-hour program when it begins airing March 23. They dig Jam Toast—so why not request some?

Hey:

Jam Toast's new album is out—Rock n' Roll Playground. 14 more punk rock tunes for kids—and the whole family, of course. Features extra guitar by Deshead, the Hip Cola (who also mixed and mastered) and Leaf, as well as Jeff Campbell, guitarist in Canadian punk legends The Forgotten Rebels.

Check it out at www.jamtoast.ca.

A couple of days ago, a friend of ours said she heard songs by a band I might like to listen to with my son... who was it - Jam Toast! I said "hey, I know that guy" :)
