No problem on the disbanding of Socktothorpe then, if we weren't even going to play together. Transportation issues may arise, however. And drum issues.

Correction: Just picked up a really trashy drum kit, so if things continue to gang aft agley, well, it's another option. (Your soundguys will love it, Mr. Kellis... no bottom heads on the toms or kick.)

Anyone have a van the Screwheads can borrow?

Well I figured Socktothorpe would be more of an administrative/organizational thing, like "okay this half of the set is just fluffy and this half is fluffy and spud but NO REALLY IT IS ONE BAND."

I mean seriously, my set is like 20 minutes. We'll need to do a bunch of Octothorpe too. Or just have a gigantic FREE-JAZZ EXTRAVAGANZA at the end.

I am working up three different set lists for Octothorpe for the four nights. Thankfully, Spokane and Moscow can be the same, but we have Crash but no Elvis for Portland, Everyone for Seattle, and no Crash OR Elvis for Spokane and Moscow. And I owe Marcus an input list.... working on it.

Revised the poster to be monochrome. Oh, well, my design lives on for Spokane and Seattle and the tour, or whatever.

Yeah, about that... I provided the promoter with the photoshop files that you so graciously got to me, and then they ended up coming up with a completely different design. Honestly, sorry about that Marcus.

The new design does look pretty cool, though. Here's a shot from my phone cam:

That fantasy pic from the poster looks familiar. Do you know where it came from?

I hope Octothorpe won't mind this being posted: Zombie Son, live in Moscow.

Regrettably, that's the only, and complete (excepting my fadeout at the end), aural history of the event, so far as I'm now aware.

Here are two pictures:

More to come, I think.

Oh, I thought the sound guys were recording the show. That's unfortunate. Although I don't mind never hearing my own set again, I'd like to relive my solo in On My Block which is perhaps the best drum solo I have ever done in my entire life.

Oh well.

Wow, awesome stage, and lighting. Was there a fog machine, too? Or is that just cigarette smoke. Either way, it looks really cool.

There was a fog machine. It hissed at us.

Like a cat that was pissed off, and telling us in no uncertain terms that we did not belong there. :)

And also much like a territorial cat, it sprayed us frequently with a rather fragrant liquid.
