New Server Issues?

Post by Ashley »

www.songfight.org and songfight.org are displaying different content. Turns out they're both resolving to different IPs. 208.113.148.85 and 216.127.80.132 respectively. I'm not sure if this is a DNS issue isolated to me, or someone forgot something so I'll post it anyway. Hope nobody minds too much.

I figured I'd title this thread like this in case anyone else has any udder issues.

Im not sure if this is a server error, or if im just being stupid.....

Hey

Kool and the gang. I dont know what you did, but I just logged in and, there was the beauty fight. Im now off to enjoy the tunes. Great new title too.. If I have time this week end I already got an idea...And if my comp holds up...anyway, I digress.
The point is, that my previous problem, with the front page not being current is now over.

Awesome.

erm... thanks.

Heyo, for what it's worth, I have the exact opposite of server issues. Used to have all sorts of trouble connecting, depending on the time of day, but that's all a thing of the past. The recent past! Since the server switcheroo it's like having all of songfight! locked in my basement where I can go visit it whenever I please. And, boy, do I please.

Okay, I'm not sure if I'm tripping some kind of mechanism for detecting particularly shabby jokes or something, but my art isn't submitting this week.

There's a zip of it if someone wants to add it manually.

Additionally: Any chance of getting the art archive to jive with PNG? A lot of my stuff compresses better with it than it does with jpeg.

[edit: 'Leet! It blends in with the forum colours.]

Neither does anybody else, I sort of finished it off without any thought at all. Having to explain it makes it lame. Lamer, even.

There's no "outside" reference, it's just two paranormal investigators X-Files style. Who just happen to be dice. Pretty silly.

Uh, what's going on with the timestamps for the posts? I just noticed that they're all 3 hours too for me. I think they used to be correct. My setting in my profile is GMT-9. That doesn't sound right, I think it should be -7. Could those settings have gotten affected by the move somehow? Or am I crazy? It's entirely possible that the timestamps were wrong for me before and I didn't notice, I just wanted to check...
