CHOICE A.

THAT IS HOW YOU KNOW THAT IT HAS BEEN RECEIVED.

CHOICE B.

YOU DO NOT CONTACT DEEP THROAT. DEEP THROAT CONTACTS YOU.

CHOOSE WISELY.

If Deep Throat is responsible for the last two titles, let's hope he's offline forever. :P

And really that's not even a fair estimate. Who knows how many times I bitched on the Dumbrella boards?!?!

Holy crap. fluffy. I screwed around a bit with that link, and the *entire* dumbrella archive is still on dumbrella's server... it's just hard to find what you're looking for.

example: http://www.dumbrella.com/ubb/Forum5/HTML/000612.html

Just change the number at the end to find different threads.

Unless everyone else already knew this.

How hard would it be to import the old dumbrella archive into this board? Put it in a new section without write access, strictly for browsing through old posts?

it'd be easier/smarter to just make an ordinary HTML mirror

Probably true, but it would be cooler to have the old posts here, under one roof, wouldn't it? Plus, you could use the search function to find all posts by, say, narbotic or drew or whatever. If you just did a mirror, you'd have to go through thousands of html pages and change links, etc., so all the buttons and stuff would work, rather than having them attempt to connect to dumbrella... I honestly don't know which would be more work, or even if anyone else besides me would enjoy having that aspect added to this site. Also, this should probably be in the suggestions forum anyway.

Yeah, it's way easier to type all that into your address bar than, say, hit 'Search' on this forum. I see your point

well that's what you get for using a web browser which doesn't have a search box next to the address bar
