Monkeys on my back.

Blood runs through.

Angst is the new black.

Actually, I'd rather like to write a song called "Angst is the new black." Maybe that's just me though.

How 'bout using songfighter handles? The following could generate interesting songs:

Poor June
Eddie Bangs
Hostess Mostess
Down with gender
Future Boy
The voice inside your head
Marcus Kellis

Man, I remember when we had this thread on dumbrella and one title was used out of like, 600.

Keep trying, guys! Surely you will break the trend.

yeah and even that was kind of a flukey thing due to a deep throat glitch that week or something.
i think mainly the point of threads like this is either "if you aren't inspired by the new titles this week but feel like writing *something* check here!" or else "look how cool i am posting a list of goofy phrases on the internet!"

I already wrote a song with this title. In the Marathon Songs Debacle.

Radiohead might want that one back.

I think the point of this thread should be to entertain with cool song titles that you probably won't ever use. And somewhere for JB to occasionally post 'hey you know these titles are NEVER going to used, right?'

"fresh out of leetspeak" would, IMHO, make a very good title...

Well, gee, thanks for the insights. I would never have got that from this thread without your brilliant incisiveness/ability to read. As it happens, I have posted plenty of titles in this thread's previous incarnations, but thanks for explaining to me what fun is.

You should enter as Charles Artless.

Have some patience with Rodeo. He's...slow.

Have you ever tried to explain 'fun' to anyone?

It seems to refer to highly transient and forgettable activities - usually performed in a group - that bring pleasure without incurring later discomfort. Though fun is what no one has at the funfair. The last time someone phoned me up and said "do you fancy some fun?" it meant "please suck me off because my girlfriend won't". Turned out the reason she wouldn't was he was stoned out of his skull. Sober take note. ANYWAY...
