the squid and the whale

Post by fodroy »

this was a great movie.

it had great writing, acting, everything. and jeff daniels. and also anna paquin.

the family is pretty messed up, but you like it that way. i don't even know what i'm saying. it's a movie and i liked it.

the kid was a bit creepy, but other than that it was great.

take that, ass man.

I was not into it at all. There was just no chance for relating to anyone in it.

Any movie with Jesse Eisenberg from Wes Craven's scare-tastic "Cursed" earns an A! Bonus points for the creepy romance between former father and daughter team Jeff Daniels and Anna Paquin ("Far Away Home)." Really sharp writing and acting.

yeah, i thought the whole jeff daniels and anna paquin scene was kind of creepy. it was probably awkward for them as actors to do that scene.

Yeah, and I never wanted to hear Jeff say, "Put me in your mouth."

Great great movie. It's like Wes Anderson (who exec produced, and written by his coauthor of some of his films) except it doesn't have much of the tedious annoying Wes Andersonisms that plague Royal Tenenbaums and Rushmore and Life Aquatic. Solid A
