Skub needs your help!

Post by Adam! »

It's not a sidefight, but perhaps it is a highlight? I'mma put it here anyway.

Nur Ein XII was a blast and I'm happy to say I have 6 shiny new songs to bandy about. The only problem: they're not done! Right now each one has drums and bass and that's it. I am looking for help filling out these arrangements and that is where you come in. If you are interested in adding guitar, piano, ukulele, xylophone, glockenspiel, bagpipe, oboe, banjo, melodica, harmonica, harmonium, accordion, tuba, flugelhorn, piccolo, slide whistle, sitar, zither, didgeridoo, theremin or kazoo, please PM me or comment here. Same goes for keyboards, synth loops, 32nd note trap hats, ambient soundscapes, turntable scratches, or sequenced beeps'n'boops. Or a guest verse, a fire rap feat, or backing vocals. Or backwards vocals. Basically anything. I don't promise I'll use it, but I'll try to.

You can grab a beta version of the album here: skub.bandcamp.com. I will be updating it regularly as new parts are added.

EDIT: Keeping a running tally of who's adding what where for my own bookkeeping
  • Glennny - Electric Guitar - After You
  • Fluffy - Something - Somesong
  • Caravan Ray - Didgeridoo, clearly - Somesong
  • Micah - Accordion - Somesong
  • j$ - 'Magic' - Somesong
  • noma - Percussion? - Somesong

I'd be happy to add some synths if you're interested. What song needs that?
