If anyone is interested in hearing it, I can upload the Christmas album that Rachael and I did years ago. It was recorded on 4-track, back in... I want to say 1999.
It's the same one I had up last year.
Has Hostess Mostess posted their Xmas CD? I got that one in the mail last year because I played on a song (Snowman).
ROCK!
Glenn (DR FUNK)

Mmm, chords.
(Also, if anyone's in Philadelphia and wants to see me singing my boots off(and probably freezing if we're outside again and in sleeveless dresses), I'm singing a bunch of dates in the next few weeks with the choir I'm in. It's all Christmas/holiday/winter songs. PM me if you wanna know where and such. It's basically in and around center city and a few near Villanova. </plug>)

Hey Folks,
I ended up with 3 Hannukah songs. I made a myspace page for them, so check it out. If you want them, and can't figure out how to download them from myspace, just PM me and I'll hook you up.

Ken, great job. I've been waiting to hear your Jew songs. They are awesome, I totally want some Latkes now, and I'm not talking about Andy Kaufman.ken wrote:Hey Folks,

My parents got me a psaltery this past September with the request that I play it for them for Christmas. So I put this together.

I suppose it's time to revive this thread. This year, Jam Toast—my punk rock group for children—recorded You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch.
Merry Christmas!

Love this thread. Haven't had much time for music this year, but I was able to try out 12 Days of Christmas. Got the whole family and some friends drunk and we belted it out. Heh. I love Christmas!

I should point out that Leaf awesomeishly added his drum and bass talents here on 12 Day this year. Both are awesome.
btw, Jam Toast friggin' rox.

Great work, THC. Nice. I still love your Sleigh Ride—the way you say Hey Kids! is absolutely priceless—and Jingle Bell Rock.
Thanks for these, and cheers.

Re: Holiday Songs
Five years ago, I submitted to the "Merry Christmas" fight. The emo quotient is far, far too great for me to link to it. Here's an arrangement of Auld Lang Syne that I recorded two years ago, though: http://music.metafilter.com/740/Auld-Lang-Syne
My other music is Old Time / shape note.
