EP SideFight?

Caravan Ray wrote:I'd like to see more "Longfights!" come in as a semi-ongoing thing, run as self-hosted side fights (like "The Jig Is Up", that JoS organised a few years ago) - these could be held over 2 or 4 weeks - but I think the 1 week time limit for the official fights is the perfect length
The above from the further above thread gave me a silly idea, so I thought I'd share it. What about an "EP Fight"? It's not a single song and it's not an entire album, but it contains 4 to 8 songs and is dipped in butter. mmmmm...butter...ahgguugllllaaggmmmmm

I have enough "what i think are decent non-SF songs" for such an album, or we could just do it with "write all original material for the album". We could even have preliminary song titles (just like real SF). It could even be a concept album like:

1. Foot Bone
2. Leg Bone
3. Knee Bone
4. Thigh Bone
5. Backbone
6. Neck Bone
7. Head Bone
8. (hidden boner track)

I'm not sure I have enough patience to write a concept album, but I'll be happy to sing it! wink wink, nudge nudge

Or we could stick with the general EP idea with/without set titles.

Or there could be a "pool" of titles to choose from (it could be the "Rejected Fight Titles EP" built from suggested titles posted here):

Or not.

I suggest you write eight songs, all titled "Hidden Boner Track."

The Cow Exchange did an excellent body parts album for the FAWM. But alas, no hidden boner track.
