Lyrics and liner notes to come.
As always, absolutely tremendous.
I'm intrigued by your "Best Birthday Song" because it keeps sounding like something really tragic happened when your sister fell, but it's called best Birthday and you were happy and smiling. Then you say you should have had amnesia that day too, as if it's something you wish you could forget. But I like the clever writing with lines like, "the picture of your big brother, he looks just like a little kid", because your are remembering the picture now as an adult as you are writing. Awesome!
Thanks for listening, I'm glad you like it.

About the birthday song - I totally knew this odd feel was emerging from the song, but with the time constraint had little time to massage it. In a way I kind of like that enigmatic aspect of it. More than anything I think this odd deal that happened with my sis (not tragic, no real injury, just a weird event where she was a heavily disoriented, although enough to not know it was my birthday for a few minutes) cemented the day in my head. So it's not that piece that made it great, but which allows me to recall it's greatness. That's where teh amnesia line comes from about me - I think if it hadn't happened, I perhaps would have forgotten that day myself.

I'm away from a decent connection, but look forward to hearing everyone else's submmissions soon.

I also enjoyed the whole album.
My favorites are "in the desert" and "Whataya do?".
Clever you, playing with "nuts in desert" and then later "nuts in the dessert". Smart.

Edit: actually the whole album is very smartly done. yadseti soppo/opposites day.

(Actually don't like this... but I don't have time to fuck about with it... oh well!)
So I'm going out and grabbing everything posted in this thread and am apparently missing something. I click on your link but can find no way to hear or download the songs.

Now that I'm back - I'll probably finish this. Maybe do some good mixes.
