LimboFight I: Bloodwork VOTE/REVIEW HERE, GUYS

Post by Lord of Oats »

I got a plug on the front page that links to this, so we're just doing it here. Cool? Here are the songs. These are good, I promise. It's a shame more people didn't do this.

Rufus & Beauclerc
Spinlock

Enjoy. Voting will be open for a week.

________________________________________________

We have official word that we will be in limbo until Sunday. So we've got the weekend to make songs. Songs are due by the end of Sunday to lordofoats@gmail.com. If you have some weird reason not to e-mail it, you can host it somewhere, but I'll be hosting them all when voting begins. Use regular SF filename format and please tag files.

First person to post a reply gets to choose the title!

I don't wanna choose the title but I Will Fight You.
Name Your Terms. Glory or Hard Cash.

(I was worried that limbo was some sort of carribean style that I hadn't heard of, and would have to learn)

Seriously, no special rules?

I'm not going to start for a few hours, and if you make me pick a title, (I'd choose "Hard Cash") then you have to pick some sort of condition. Just don't make it anything that stops me playing with the new automation features of garageband 08 that just arrived. :D :) :D

Or let the next poster pick the title.

BTW - what's your time zone? I'm GMT+1 which screws with 'the end of sunday' as a clear deadline.

I can't do it, but I'll pick a title if you want a non-participant to give it.

A non-participant can supply the title.

I think a participant/audience-supplied optional challenge would be cool, too.

Oh, to clarify, the end of Sunday means when Sunday has completely ended globally. When it is midnight Monday, in the last chronological time zone, submissions will no longer be accepted. If somebody wants to figure out when that is in some common time zones, that'd probably help us.

By the way, we're not necessarily still waiting on Bill for the title. If he shows up soon, that's great, but anyone can still post one. If it doesn't happen soon, I'll ask a friend for one, so we can get started.

So, you mean when you wake up on Monday, right ;)

Thanks! That ought to do. It's probably ideal that the title come from someone who isn't participating. At least if I'm proctoring the fight, because I don't feel comfortable as a simultaneous participant and supplier of title.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I also like titles that can go a number of ways. Good luck!

Anybody else have anything? You've got about fourteen hours left, I'd say. If I can make a song in 55 minutes, you can certainly make one in that much time.

Sorry, out - the weekend just got too busy. I'll look for one of these next time we're in limbo, though.

I'm a member of Rufus & Beauclerc. I figured I wouldn't muddy things up by adding a solo entry.

We were getting pretty lowphy. Apparently that's ok if the song rocks hard enough.

Ok. I guess I can take losing if it's from a band powered by loo and veg. Well done. I'll do a proper review when I've got through the main fight.
