I voted for yours first and the BeWells for honorable mention. I went through everyone's songs many many times to be sure that the deserving parties got my vote.anti-m wrote:In any case, if my name up there ISN'T an error...
I felt like your cover was the most emotionally evocative, as well as being a unique take on the original (but the unique take served the song well instead of just being different for shock value.) You took a song I really didn't care for and make something great out of it.
I was curious - your cover was sparse but it seemed like there wasn't a single element needed or out of place. Was it that way all along, or did you build and take away elements to find the proper balance?

*sshhhhhhh*
Just use your imagination. Listen to the original 'Tusk', Animal Collective's 'Leaf House', and Yeasayers' 2080 in rapid succession and you'll have it.
(Apparently without copious amounts of alcohol and my girlfriend involved the covers don't seem to happen.)

Duly noted, my friend. No problem, but thanks for the mention. I know the feeling And I hope you enjoy it as much once your punishment expires.Spud wrote:I have probably not thanked Roymond for his cover (You've got to Fight...), because I am refraining from listening to it again until I have finished mine. I did listen to it once when it first came out, and it was amazing. I am planning on putting on frequent rotation ONCE MINE IS DONE. But not before. Self-imposed punishment.
